The Okanagan Hockey Academy is enjoying a very successful spring thus far as our players have competed in numerous competitions in various age categories.
U18 & U16: The OHA U18 and U16 teams hosted CSKA Sofia of Bulgaria in a series of exhibition games in which the academy came away with victories in each game.
U17: An OHA group lead by U18 White coach and ex-Mannheim great Elias Vorlicek, won a two game series vs U17 Mannheim MERC
U16: The OHA U16 team won the Gold Medal at the Easter Cup tournament in Melnik on April 7th. The U16s bested every team throughout the tournament and clinched the championship with a 2-0 victory in the finals vs Kopings HC of Sweden. The OHA team was led in the by the tournament’s Top Defenceman Moritz Molls and Top Forward Pasha Atamanchuk.
U14: The Okanagan Vienna Tigers won the Bronze Medal at the Austrian U14 national tournament.
U13 The The Okanagan Vienna Tigers won the Bronze Medal at the Easter Cup tournament in Most on April 7th.
