The city of St.Pölten is the state capital of Lower Austria (Niederösterreich) and is built on top of an ancient Roman city. Officially established in 1050, St.Pölten offers all the amenities expected of a modern day capital. Despite being the largest city in Lower Austria (over 52,000 population), it has a small town atmosphere that is perfect for developing well-rounded student-athletes.
St.Pölten is located 100km from Vienna International Airport and 125km from Linz Airport. There are trains that can bring you from the Vienna International Airport to St. Pölten as well as airport busses that can take you to Vienna’s West Train Station (Wien Westbahnof) – which has trains that take only 27 minutes to St. Pölten.
