Okanagan Hockey Europe is located on Austria’s premier multifunctional sporting campus

City of St. Pölten

The City of St. Pölten is the provincial capital of Lower Austria (Niederösterreich) and is built on top of an ancient Roman city. Officially established in 1050, St. Pölten offers all the amenities expected of a modern-day capital. Despite being the largest city in Lower Austria (over 52,000 population), it has a small town atmosphere that is perfect for developing well-rounded student-athletes. The province of Lower Austria charms with vineyards nestled along the Danube valley paired with great music festivals in castles perched it the countryside, which make it a perfect getaway for lovers of music, nature, and wines.

Getting to St. Pölten

St.Pölten is located 100km from Vienna International Airport and 125km from Linz Airport. There are trains that can bring you from the Vienna International Airport to St. Pölten as well as airport busses that can take you to Vienna’s West Train Station (Wien Westbahnof) – which has trains that take only 27 minutes to St. Pölten.
